1 down 11 to go…

Well, I’ve been in Baghdad for a month now, been going on missions for three weeks been running missions for two of those three weeks. It’s pretty cool on mission. I’m in control I make the calls. I feel free when I leave the wire. I like it a little bit ;-) . Unfortunately, I haven’t figured out how to put pictures up on here yet, but I amworking on it. I was issued a digital camera from the company so now i have two cameras for picture taking :-D . So the pictures are beginning to build up ;) . I’m kind of tired now, i’ve been going for a month now and get a day off here and a day off there. Right now, I am responsible for training up the other platoon in the company. Once they are ready, I might not have to go out for a little while. i tell can’t tell you how much i miss my family and friends. That post would be way too long and way too gushy for the internet. it would turn out to be one of those jane austin novels or something like that ;-) . Well. God bless you and prosper you all. i will try to get some rest so my soldiers and i can provide you with the protection and peace of mind you deserve. until next time…

Whoa, nelly! Night mission

So I went out on the streets of Baghdad tonight. It’s a little bit freakier than running the streets during the day. Every time we stop we turn all our lights off. It’s get beyond dark out there ;) ; like you can’t see your hand on your nose, dark. Well, one of my guys shot off a flare and we thought we were taking fire! But it was only a flare so we were alright and we continued our mission. It was pretty funny after the fact, but not at all during. We’ll see what the next night holds for us.

My first mission

Yeah dawg! I went outside the wire for the first time today :-D . It was relatively boring which is a good thing, I guess. That’s what everyone wants to hear. I’m learning alot and having a crazy time, as always ;-) . After a while I’ll start running my own missions, whoa nelly!!! Well, it’s off to bed for me. Take care, God bless you and prosper you. out
